I defy you, readers, not to have a "hayfever" moment of your own. This photograph was made for this series, and makes for a perfect Friday.
The weekend starts here, readers. Over to Claire:
Beautiful photograph by the talented Hannah Dornford-May
Of all the amazing photos our photographer took that day, there is no competition for my favourite. It just makes me happy every time I look at it - and I'm holding my flowers, which I loved beyond belief!
We'd just had the wedding we worked hard to make work - conducted by a friend, on a beautiful spot on top of a hill in Somerset. We'd said our vows and kissed and walked down the aisle (between the hay bales) and through the arch into the woods.
Our guests had yet to turn around and point their cameras at us. It was just Jon and I - and I didn't even notice that Hannah, the photographer was there - I'd last seen her at the front before we said our vows.
In a second, we would turn around and walk back through the arch, be showered with so much confetti, have a thousand more photos taken and it would all begin again. But for that moment, it was just us.
We did it, didn't we?
